Captain Dave's on the Beach is now Bad Boys Beach Bar. Enjoy a friendly atmosphere, warm sea breezes, and a Caribbean view that goes all the way to Cozumel. Man or woman - no shoes, no shirt, no problem.
Bad Boys Beach Bar is located in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and is a popular bar, beach club, restaurant, and hangout for both tourist, expats, and locals. There's live music and dancing on Thursday and Saturdays from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. (They quit early in consideration of residential neighbors on both sides.) Don't forget the ice cold cervezas and frosty margaritas as well as your other favorite tropical cocktails.
Bad Boys is also a beach club located on what many proclaim as the best coral sand beach in the world. Bad Boys opens at 10:00 AM.

Who’s Trey
Trey, real name Hunter Ryan, is Captain Dave's nephew and the owner manager of Bad Boys Beach Bar. After Captain Dave passed, Trey moved to Playa del Carmen from Memphis, TN to manage Bad Boys. You'll find that Bad Boys continues to be the best beach bar in Playa. Great vibes, ice cold beer and cocktails, live music and dancing, and the perfect place to hang on the beach.
Who’s Teo
Teo, real name Teo, was Captain Dave's partner since the Mayan's ruled the earth. He is now Trey's partner and manager of Bad Boys Beach Bar. Be sure to come by and check out Teo's fantastic specials including Beef Stroganoff. Yea...that's Mexican Beef Stroganoff!
