Captain Dave’s on the Beach is now Bad Boys Beach Bar and is the home of the Nasty Bastards Band. Enjoy a friendly atmosphere, warm sea breezes, and a Caribbean view that goes all the way to Cozumel. Man or woman – no shoes, no shirt, no problem.

Captain Daves is located in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and is a popular bar, beach club, restaurant, and hangout for both tourist, expats, and locals. The Nasty Bastards Band plays live music for dancing on Thursday and Saturdays from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. (They quit early in consideration of the neighbors on both sides.)

Where is Bad Boys Beach Bar?

Bad Boys Beach Bar is in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. It is located on the beach – a great place for a beach bar. You’ll find it between Calle 2 and Calle 4 just a few blocks north of the Cozumel Ferry pier and one block east of the famous pedestrian mall Fifth Ave in Playa del Carmen. Unless you’re on a bike or motor scooter, it’s best to walk or take a taxi. There is no parking at the bar. Handicap access is difficult because access is across the beautiful sandy beach.
